(Chicago) Chicago Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected in a fatal shooting at a South Side grocery store last December.

Glenn Houston Jr., 23, was killed Dec. 23, 2014, when someone walked into Eberhart Food Store, at 457 E. 79th St., and started shooting about 3:15 p.m., authorities said.

Houston, of the 7700 block of South Rhodes, was shot in the chest several times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later, authorities said.

On Friday, police released a surveillance photo of the person they believe is the shooter, Area South detectives said in a community alert.

The suspect is described as a black man about 23 years old, 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds with a medium complexion, short black hair and facial hair, police said.
