(MERRILLVILLE, Ind.) A bicyclist was struck and killed in northwest Indiana Friday.

Gregorio Bustamante, 46, was hit in the 7800 block of Broadway in Merrillville, Ind. about 8:20 a.m., the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Bustamante, whose home address wasn’t known, was pronounced dead at a hospital at 4:26 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy performed Sunday ruled the death an accident.
