(JOLIET) A southwest suburban Joliet woman won $4 million with a scrath-off lottery ticket.

Karen Dale scratched an Illinois Lottery “100X The Cash” ticket in the parking lot of Lambert’s PS Fuels, 928 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet, and instantly won the $4 million jackpot, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery.

Dale, who has lived in Joliet for 25 years, said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills, invest and possibly buy a new car.

Lambert’s PS Fuels will receive a bonus of $40,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
