Weather: Isolated storms possible, some severe

An approaching cold front, along with abundant low-level moisture, will help spark scattered showers and storms from late tonight through Sunday.  An isolated storm may reach severe status Sunday with large hail, damaging winds and heavy downpours possible.

Today |Scattered thunderstorms in the morning becoming more widespread in the afternoon. Highs upper 80s with a heat index in the mid 90s. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

Tonight|A few clouds. Lows in the upper 60s. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Monday|Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low 60s.

Tuesday|Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

Wednesday|Abundant sunshine. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday|Plenty of sun. Highs in the low 80s.
