(CHICAGO) A $2,000 reward is now being offered for information about the robbery and shooting of a 71-year-old man in the Marquette Park neighborhood.

A neighbors surveillance camera captured the suspects riding past 71-year-old Federico LaGuardia on their bicycles then one returns and attacks him. When LaGuardia refused to give up his wallet he was shot in the abdomen. He’s listed in fair condition at Mount Sini Hospital. The shooting happened in the middle of the day Tuesday in the 7100 block of South California Ave.

Activist Andrew Holmes on announced the $2,000 reward Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to call (800) 883-5587.
