Increased excitement and anxiety can develop during and after wins. Feelings of sadness and a loss of control over a major league team one cannot control presents itself after a loss. Cubbie Fever can be compared to the Manny Pacquiao Disorder or the Super Bowl Sickness.

None of these statements have been examined by a doctor, but it appears that hundreds of correctional workers suffered from this over the weekend.

These unusually large amounts of call-offs are taking place during major sporting or weather events, and it’s becoming an ongoing problem.
