(EVANSTON) The death of a man struck by a CTA Purple Line train late Friday afternoon in north suburban Evanston has been ruled a suicide.

The 29-year-old man jumped from the platform in front of a northbound train at 900 Foster Street at about 4 p.m., according to Evanston police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
