(CHICAGO) Bond has been denied for a Chicago man accused of shooting to death another man outside a CTA Red Line stop on the city’s South Side earlier this week.

Frederick Stewart, 33, is charged with fatally shooting Javontay Tolliver near 55th and South Wentworth on Monday. Stewart was taken into custody after a short chase.

Prosecutors say surveillance video showed Stewart and Tolliver arguing near the turnstiles at the CTA stop and Stewart grabbing Tolliver. The two men left the station when a CTA employee told them to do so. A gunshot was heard a short time later and, according to prosecutors, video shows Stewart with a gun chasing Tolliver into the street and Tolliver then falling to the ground.

Tolliver was shot three times in the chest, back, and head.
