Commissioner Richard Boykin joined Facebook executives yesterday to discuss how to be safe with social media in the aftermath of many, many live-streamed violent videos have appeared on the site.

“Forums like the ones we hosted today can serve as a mechanism to fight back against individuals who are using the Facebook and other forms of social media for unwelcome violent purposes,” Boykin said.
