(CHICAGO) A former airman from northern Illinois is going to prison for amassing what prosecutors called a horrific collection of child pornography.  Authorities say Robert Hollingsworth collected more than 13,000 pictures and videos of children being sexually exploited.

The 27-year old is from Byron, Illinois some 100 miles northwest of Chicago.

Hollingsworth was arrested at Dover Air Force Base in January, pleaded guilty in June to one count of possession of child porn of a minor under the age of 12.  Of the 162 identified victims, 16 came forward to submit impact statements.

Hollingsworth has been sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered to pay $48-thousand dollars in restitution.
