Rauner fires back

(CHICAGO)  Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is firing back at everybody  who’s been ridiculing him lately.

Rauner came out swinging first against the National Review which is doing a cover story tagging him as the worst Republican governor in the nation, “It’s a political hit piece and that’s fine. It’s part of the process.”

Then there’s his new primary challenger Sttate Represenative Jeanne Ives of Wheaton calling him Benedict Rauner for supposedly betrying his base.

“I will win the general election,” says Raunder, “and if we don’t win the general election, nuthin’ else matters. If we go back to being a one-party state that’s controlled by one person, we don’t have a future.”

So when will Rauner stop running against Speaker Mike Madigan?

“Till he’s gone!  I mean, he’s been in charge for 35 years!
