Did Pritzker stumble at Dem Debate?

(CHICAGO) The six Democrats who want to be governor debated last night for the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, WBEZ Radio and Politico. Some are saying the frontrunner stumbled.

Debates can be risky for the candidates and billionaire frontrunner JB Pritzer called for something on the issue of gun violence that’s already happened.

“I wanna ban bump stocks, said Pritzker, “I wanna ban assault weapons. I wanna ban high-capacity magazines and I think we gotta pass that gun dealer licensing bill and make sure we have a governor who will sign all that legislation which I’m doubtful we do.”

Gun Dealer licensing did pass the legislature Wednesday which Pritzker’s closest competitor Daniel Biss pointed out, “We had a good day in the Illinois General Assembly yesterday sending the gun dealer licensing bill to Bruce Rauner’s desk, a bill that if signed into law will save some lives.”
