Bill Cameron sits down with Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa. Ramirez-Rosa is an Alderman for the City of Chicago’s 35th Ward. Bill and Carlos discuss issues affecting the city, and especially the topics of Police accountability, what it means to be in public service, and who he would like to see win the Mayor’s race in the upcoming election.

In this week’s round table segment, Bill Cameron is joined by Ray Long of the Chicago Tribune, Greg Hinz of Crains,Lynn Sweet and Fran Spielman of the Chicago Sun Times. The Round table begins the discussion with the possibility of President Trump pardoning Former IL Governor Rod Blagojevich, The recent announcment of the state budget finally being approved, and would Blago come back to Chicago for a “victory lap” if Trump pardons him?

This week’s community spotlight segment is with Jennifer Keiper. The National Confectioners Association chose Chicago for it’s Sweets and Snacks expo. Jennifer speaks again with Paul Chibe, CEO of Ferrero North America who talked about his company’s recent acquisition of Nestle USA, Their concerns about legislation being debated in congress and how it affects the company and workers, and the “innovation” award that Ferrero received.
