After years of legal battles in the courts, New Jersey is finally getting their way when it comes to sports gambling.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed a law that finally authorizes legal sports betting in New Jersey, both online and at the state’s casinos, racetracks, and former racetracks.
Monmouth Park racetrack will become the first place in the state to accept bets, starting Thursday at 10:30 a.m. N
New Jersey is now the second state outside of Nevada to authorize betting on sports games. Delaware beat the state by about a week.
