(CHICAGO) A judge has found former Peotone Junior High School coach Samuel Burks guilty of sending texts to one of his middle school basketball players, in June 2016, describing sexual acts and asking her for nude pictures.

It was the girl’s mother who found the “graphic” messages on her daughter’s phone.

The 50-year old former coach has been found guilty of two felony counts of grooming.  Burks faces up to three years in prison when sentenced on September 6.
