(CHICAGO)  Senator Dick Durbin is arguing that the Trump Executive Order “doesn’t solve the problem, but makes it worse.”

Durbin took to the floor of the senate to argue that Trump’s executive order does not guarantee that kids can remain with their parents, nor this, “The order does nothing – speaks not a word – to uniting the 2400 children who’ve been separated from their families. Not one word in there!  For goodness sakes, that’s where the president should start with his executive order.”

Durbin predicted a lawsuit on the issue because it violates a 1997 court order that says you can’t keep a child locked up with detained parents for more than twenty days.
