(CHICAGO) At City Hall, a top alderman is mum about a facial issue.

Powerful Ald Ed Burke showed up in a City Council Committee with shiner but ignored a question about how he got it.

Nonetheless, Business proceeded without a blink.

Renaming Congress Parkway Ida B Well Dr got approved. Co-sponsor Ald Sophia King did sound as though she still preferred her first idea of renaming Balbo, “I think a street like Congress Parkway doesn’t necessarily do her justice, but I think that it is a great street and I will be ecstatic when someone calls me next and asks me where I am and I can say I’m on Ida Dr, where are you?”

And at one point on the new street she could say she’s at Wells and Wells.
