(CHICAGO) Former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn says he has a poll suggesting his petition drive for a two-term limit on Chicago mayors – including Rahm Emanuel – is popular.
Quinn’s self-serving poll of 600 Chicagoans suggests 59% are for limiting mayors to two terms and 75% are for at least letting the question on the Nov 6th ballot.

And here’s what Quinn thinks of Mayor Emanuel’s legal arguments against letting it on the ballot, “Just plain wrong and we’re not gonna let him get away with it! We’ll taken ’em to court if they try to stop our referendum with their maneuvers. I think it’s very important to protect the right to vote.”

Quinn needs 53,000 signatures by August 6th to get on the ballot and so far he says he’s got 70,000 and counting.
