Operator Of NY Limo Company Charged With Homicide

The man who runs the limo company involved in Sunday’s horrific crash that killed 20 people in upstate New York has been arrested and charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Nauman Hussain is the operator of Prestige Limousine and the son of owner Shahed Hussain, who is currently out of the country. He was taken into custody on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Nauman told police he was aware that the limo involved in the crash had failed an inspection, and that the driver did not have the proper licensing to drive it. Prosecutors say more charges could be coming.

20 people were killed when the limo, carrying 17 people to a birthday party, sped through an intersection and hit two pedestrians and a parked car on Sunday.
