Astronauts Make Emergency Landing After Rocket Failure

Two astronauts headed to the International Space Station were forced to make an emergency landing on Earth after a booster rocket failure.

American Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Alexy Ovchinin were aboard the Soyuz MS-10 rocket that launched this morning. When the booster failed, they were forced to return to Earth – fortunately, NASA says both men managed to land safely.

The rocket failure could be a huge issue for space travelers, as it’s currently the only craft used to transport people to and from the ISS.
