Georgia Governor Candidate Accusing Of Stalling 50K Voter Registrations

A man running for Georgia Governor is accused of manipulating voter registration rolls to help his campaign.

Brian Kemp serves as Georgia’s Secretary of State and is in charge of the state’s elections. A report Wednesday claims that Kemp’s office sat on 53,000 voter registrations, putting them on hold until after Wednesday’s deadline to register in time to vote in the midterms.

Critics say Kemp is discriminating against minority voters, since 70 percent of those registrations are from black residents. Kemp has denied any wrongdoing.
