(CHICAGO)   At City Hall, Bill Cameron says Ald Ed Burke, who used to do legal work for Donald Trump, is now trying to look friendly to undocumented immigrants with a ploy to try to kill the Chicago-Gary Airport agreement.

Burke’s going to get a serious challenge for re-election so he needs to boost his bona fides with Latinos in his majority Latino ward.

So he wants to kill the city’s agreement with the Gary Airport which the feds use to deport the undocumented.

Gery Chico, who used to work for Burke and is now a candidate for mayor, says it would save the city half-a-million dollars a year, who added “Not givin’ the money to Gary Airport. There’s very little that goes on there. A few flights. And some of these are the ones we’re talkin’ about. Charter flights to deport people.”

And it wouldn’t do Ald Burke any harm either.
