It might seem like everyone you know already subscribes to Netflix, but somehow the streaming service keeps finding new customers.

Netflix subscriptions have surged over the last three months, adding over 7 million new customers, nearly 2 million more than projected.

The subscription bump comes as Netflix is cranking out more original content than ever before, doubling its output from a year ago. Netflix also did quite well at the Emmys last month.

All told, over 137 million people worldwide subscribe to Netflix.
