For the first time in 25 years, New York City went an entire weekend without a single shooting.
NYPD says the streak lasted from Thursday into Monday, the first time that had happened since 1993.
Mayor Bill de Blasio called it an ‘extraordinary’ achievement in a city of 8.6 million people.
So far NYC has seen 600 shootings in 2018, down about 2 percent from last year.
