A federal judge has tossed out Stormy Daniels’ defamation lawsuit against President Trump.

The case centered on Trump’s comments after Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, said a man had approached her in 2011 and threatened her to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump.

Trump called the story a ‘con job’ and the alleged attacker ‘nonexistent’. A judge ruled that those comments were protected under the 1st Amendment. Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, says they plan to appeal.

Daniels is also suing Trump over a $130,000 ‘hush money’ payment over an alleged 2006 affair. She claims the agreement was invalid because Trump never signed it.
