A white woman in St. Louis that blocked a black man from entering his own apartment in a luxury loft has been fired from her job.

After a day of work, D’Arreion Toles was just trying to enter his apartment. His neighbor, Hilary Brooke Thornton wasn’t having it. She blocked his door and demanded to see his key and tell her his unit number. A video of the incident has since gone viral.

Along with the videos, Toles wrote: “Woman tries to stop me from coming into my building because she feels insecure, Downtown St. Louis luxury loft, because she don’t feel that I belong, never really thought this would happen to me, but it did!”
