(CHICAGO) Attorney General Jeff Sessions is scheduled to deliver a speech, in Chicago, on Friday.  He is scheduled to address the Chicago Crime Commission.

This visit comes a week after the U.S. Department of Justice filed a statement of interest in federal court asking a judge to reject the police reform plan the city and the Illinois attorney general’s office hammered out.  The plan would overhaul the Chicago Police Department under court supervision.

Sessions says the proposed plan would deprive Chicago police of flexibility.
