Many Democrat voters are thinking that if the party retakes Congress following the midterm elections, perhaps they can begin looking into the impeachment process on President Trump. But Joe Biden feels perhaps that may be premature.

Speaking to “CBS This Morning,” the former Vice President says, “I hope they don’t.”

Biden would rather that Democrats instead wait until Robert Muller’s Special Counsel report is released before making any moves. “You wait till it’s finished, and let’s see what it has to say,” Biden told Nora O’Donnell.

If Democrats win back the House, Nancy Pelosi, who would become the leader, is trying to lower impeachment expectations as well, saying, “Our priority (is) unifying. Impeachment is a very divisive approach.”
