Candidates react to racial discrimination suit against Pritzker

By Bill Cameron, WLS-AM News

(CHICAGO) JB Pritzker and Bruce Rauner are talking about the racial discrimination civil suit that ten Pritzker staffers have filed against the Pritzker campaign.

WLS’ Bill Cameron asked Pritzker if he sees any Republican fingerprints on the lawsuit and he said he really doesn’t but we are 19 days out from the election.

On the road to a campaign stop in Peoria, Rauner reacted to the fingerprints question, “Well, I, I figure it’s a ridiculous idea that there would be Republicans involved in his staff in his internal campaign. That’s Pritzker and his team. Clearly there are many many upset staffers who feel mistreated. These allegations are very serious and I hope the truth comes known soon. The people of the State of Illinois deserve to know the truth.”

Rauner also tells WLS he thinks the polls that show him trailing by 20 points are grossly wrong. He conceded he’s  not winning, but not trailing by a huge number.
