Tesla is coming out with a more affordable version of their Model 3. The cheaper mid-range battery version of the Model 3 that starts at $45,000.

CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the mid-range Tesla Model 3 costs $35,000 after federal and state tax rebates in California.

While this is a less-expensive version of the Model 3, it still isn’t the lowest priced Tesla that had been promised, starting at $35,000. That low-cost model won’t be available for another 4-6 months.
