Now that they’ve won control of the House, Democrats are making plans to go after President Trump’s tax returns.

Massachusetts Rep. Richard Neal, who will be taking over as chair of the Ways and Means Committee, has he’ll be going after Trump’s tax returns and is prepared for a “long and grinding court case” to get them.

Democrats have been chasing Trump’s tax returns since he broke with tradition and refused to release them during the 2016 campaign, saying they were “under audit”.

Trump repeated that line on Wednesday, telling reporters that his tax returns are “extremely complex”.
