Emanuel: Mid-terms could signal what happens in Mayoral race

By Bill Cameron, WLS-AM News

(CHICAGO) The next election is for Mayor of Chicago February 26th, and the current mayor is sending a signal about it.

Rahm continues to say it’s not his place to talk about who should be the next mayor because that’s up to the voters, his job is to finish his term.

But in his latest answer about this he did work in this about the midterms, “There are two phenomenon obviously in terms of voters. A surge obviously not only in women voters, women volunteers and candidates. And also young voters showing up in a level they have not shown up in presidential or midterms.”

The women currently circulating petitions for mayor are Toni Preckwinkle and Susana Medoza, Lori Lightfoot, Dorothy Brown and Amara Enyia.
