Texas Judge lets everyone go after losing re-election

Talk about a sore loser. After Judge Glenn Devlin lost his bid for re-election on Tuesday, he pretty much let everyone go who appeared in front of him the next day.

Devlin, who is a Harris County Juvenile Court justice in Texas, reportedly asked the seven defendants if they planned to kill anyone before dismissing their charges.

Harris County public defender Steven Halpert reveals the charges were serious too, claiming that Devlin’s stunt was his way of saying, “that’s what the voters wanted.”

Kim Ogg, the county’s District Attorney, released a statement attacking Devlin saying what he did would “endanger the public.”
