A grand jury has indicted a Branson, Missouri duck boat captain in connection with July’s deadly accident that killed 17 people.

Kenneth Scott McKee is facing 17 counts as prosecutors argue he was negligent in not properly checking the weather before setting sail on July 19.

The boat capsized after a severe storm rolled in with winds of over 70 mph – double what the boat is supposed to be able to withstand.
