(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – Northbrook based Allstate is collecting supplies through Friday to benefit Between Friends as well as Turning point Inc. and the domestic violence survivors they serve. The most-needed items include boxed meals such as macaroni and cheese, bulk grains and beans, canned goods, pasta, body wash, soap, combs and hairbrushes. A full list can be found at https://conta.cc/2Aj7M1h.
Domestic violence programs across the country frequently lack sufficient funding and often operate with limited resources. Through their volunteer efforts of hosting supply drives, the agency owners will secure an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant which will enable the agencies to further their work in the community.
