A performance of ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ in Baltimore was interrupted by a man shouting Nazi slogans from the balcony.

Witnesses say the man made a Nazi hand gesture and shouted “Heil Hitler, Heil Trump” during the intermission, which alarmed many audience members who were afraid a shooting might break out.

The man was quickly escorted out by security, to much applause from the crowd. Police say the man was ticketed but not arrested for the incident.

‘Fiddler’ tells the story of a Jewish family facing persecution in Russia, adding to concerns over anti-Semitic violence.
