I’m not sure how many people believe Ted Cruz really went on a drinking binge with Nine Inch Nails, but the Texas Senator wants you to know it isn’t true.

At a recent show in Texas, NIN frontman Trent Reznor joked that Cruz had hit them up for free tickets, saying that last time around he “drank all the beer”.

Cruz responded on Twitter, saying “NIN is not my music taste” and that Reznor was “clearly joking”. Cruz then joked “I also didn’t ‘drink all his beer’ the last time… but I would have!”
