A Kentucky teacher has been fired after video surfaced showing her dragging a 9-year-old boy with autism through the hallways.

According to the boy’s mother, her son had been pulled out of class after an ‘outburst’. Security video shows the teacher dragging him by his wrists while the boy slides on his knees and back.

The mother says her son suffered a wrist sprain and possible fracture, along with emotional trauma.

The Greenup County School District announced Monday that the teacher was ‘removed from the school’ and the incident was reported to the state education board.
