(CHICAGO)  In the race for mayor, Susana Mendoza is on the attack against Bill Daley.

Daley backed out of the Lincoln Forum last night where Mendoza appeared. Daley said he preferred to be with “normal people” picking up the plumbers union endorsement. That drew this response from Mendoza.

“It’s just so offensive on so many levels. It’s not the first time he’s said things like that. He’s made a point of not going to as many forums as possible. He doesn’t want people to see how thin a skin he actually has. I’ve seen a thicker skin on an amoeba!”

And so Mendoza’s demanding Daley debate her anytime anywhere.
