Clearly, three boys in Kansas have yet to learn the dangers of trying to woo more than one woman at a time.

Tristan Valentine, Kyan Rice and Lincoln Holmes have captured the Internet’s attention after they bought flowers for all the women and girls at Summit Trail Middle School in Olathe. With 270 girls attending a school that employs 70 women, that’s a lot of flowers. And what’s more is they bought the Valentine’s Day gifts with their own money.

“We wanted every girl to feel important and special on Valentine’s Day,” says the appropriately-named Valentine. “We worked hard to make sure it was going to be a surprise to everybody. I only told a few friends, and the girls seemed surprised and happy.”
