A new documentary series from Get Out director Jordan Peele explores one of the most infamous news stories of the 90’s from a new perspective.

Lorena recounts the story of Lorena Bobbitt, who famously cut off her husband’s penis in 1993 after enduring years of abuse and sexual assault.

The four-part Amazon series also explores the way the media handled the story at the time, with Bobbitt becoming a national punch line despite the serious nature of her abuse.

You’ll even see footage of people like Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose, who have dealt with their own #MeToo reckoning in recent years.
