At least 10 Kentucky school districts have been forced to close numerous times over the past two weeks as hundreds of teachers call in sick to protest at the state legislature. Now, the state’s education commission wants names.
ABC News reports the protests are part of a wave sweeping the country as teachers make demands.
In addition to the names of every teacher who has used a sick day – Wayne Lewis wants copies of affidavits and doctor’s notes.
It isn’t yet clear what action the state plans to take, if any.
