Minnesota congresswoman Rep. Ilhan Omar recently told those at a Council on Islamic-American Relations event in California to “raise hell” against discrimination.
“Because here’s the truth,” Rep. Omar said. “For far too long, we have lived with the discomfort of living as second class citizens and I’m tired of it.”
The Riverside, California, Press-Enterprise reports Rep. Omar told those at the L.A. event to “make people uncomfortable.”
The congresswoman has come under fire recently by leaders on both sides of the aisle for anti-Semitic speech.
