People close to Joe Biden say the former Vice President is ready to run for the White House, with a video announcement expected next week.

Friday’s report by The Atlantic reveals the footage was shot two weeks ago at the Biden family’s old Scranton, PA home in an effort to highlight that he understands working class concerns.

Despite not officially launching a campaign yet, most polls regarding the 2020 election put Biden at the top of the Democrat presidential contenders pack.

The Hill notes that Biden’s hesitation to jump in sooner has placed him behind the other hopefuls in term of fundraising.
