Claims of Shoddy Production for A Second Boeing Jet

As Boeing continues to deal with the deaths that resulted from two 737 Max jets crashing, employees of the company’s South Carolina production plant say it’s overrun with shoddy work that compromises the safety of anyone flying in their Dreamliner 787 jet.

The New York Times spoke to employees who say that production speed is valued over the integrity of the 787’s manufacturing. One employee that spoke to the Times said he would never fly on a 787.

The FAA says it’s taking the whistleblower’s comments seriously and will investigate.
