The U.S. military is exploring a plan to deploy 120,000 troops to the Middle East after tensions with Iran intensify. The White House is accusing Iran of sabotaging ships in the Persian Gulf. The Navy has sent the USS Abraham Lincoln to the Gulf.

A deployment of 120,000 troops would be the largest since the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003. National Security Advisor John Bolton said the U.S. is not seeking war with Iran but “are fully prepared to respond to any attack.”
