President Trump was peppered by reporters after opening an event, about products made in America, to questions. Not a single one had anything to do with the event, itself. Instead, the reporters focused on recent tweets the President made suggesting some congressional democrats should leave the country if they don’t like it.

The tweets have been characterized as racist and xenophobic; with Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing a House resolution condemning them.

The President was asked what he thought about his tweets being called racist and whether he thought they were. He said he weren’t; adding that many people agree with him.

He was also asked his thoughts on white nationalists using his recent comments for their gain.
