A federal judge denied bail for Jeffrey Epstein on Thursday.

Epstein has been charged with sex trafficking. The prosecutors in the case expressed concern that with all of his financial resources, Epstein could be a flight risk.

Epstein’s defense team wanted their client to be placed under house arrest in his $77 million mansion in Manhattan.

Epstein will remain in jail as he fights allegations that he exploited girls for years in the early 2000s.
