A British woman has been slapped with a $100,000 fine and a lifetime ban after trying to open the doors of an airplane in mid-air.

Authorities say 25-year-old Chloe Haines was acting “aggressive, abusive, and dangerous” during the Jet2 flight from London to Turkey.

Her antics were so disruptive that the British military scrambled fighter jets to escort the plane back to London.

Back on the ground, Haines was banned for life and fined £85,000, or about $106,000, to cover fuel costs and accomodations for the other passengers.
