Michigan Officer On Leave After KKK Memorabilia Found In Home

A Michigan police officer has been suspended after a prospective homebuyer reported seeing KKK memorabilia displayed in his house.

Homebuyer Rob Mathis, who is black, was checking out the Muskegon County property when he saw an old KKK application displayed on a plaque on the wall. He also says two Confederate flags were displayed in the garage.

Mathis says once he saw the KKK display he left and told the realtor he wouldn’t be buying the house. The officer, who is white, has been put on administrative leave while an investigation is launched.
